JOB SCOPE
- To ensure current documents of all relevant Corporate and Project HSE manual/ procedures and applicable statutory laws and regulations are available, reflected, and compliant with the HSE Program.
- Carrying out day-to-day operations of the HSE Department and contributing to the application of effective Health, Safety, and Environment management by providing technical support.
- Investigation of potential hazards, dangerous occurrences, and near misses, and to examine the cause of accidents/ incidents where the interests of the diving personnel may be involved.
- Assist in performing Risk Assessment and HIRA and ensure the control measures taken are reasonable and practicable.
- Conduct Safety Induction for all personnel working for onshore and offshore operations as well as visitors providing service for the project.
- Record man-hours spent within office / onshore as well as Offshore / Project basis as well as HSE performance shall be maintained for statistical as a weekly basis, refer to HSE Program.
- Ensure that training of AOS personnel on all matters relating to safe working practices is adequately provided.
- Coordinates monthly Safety Delegates meetings and provides notes.
- Performing HSE inspection as and whereas required within work areas (onshore / site and offshore -if required) and following up on the corrective action taken.
- Ensure appropriate assisting in the emergency action, escort in a state of readiness to respond to emergency situations, and authorize such usage.
- Liaising with involved Supervisors/ Group Leaders on related safety matters.
- Assisting HSE Manager in generating internal Health and Safety Policy/strategies, incl. drawing up safety Operational procedures.
TRAINING REQUIRED
The following training courses are required for the development of competence in this position:
- Fluent in English
- 2 years experience in HSE
- Certificate Ahli K3 Umum by PERMENAKER is mandatory. HSE Management System (K3LL).
- Behaviour-Based Safety.
- Safety Leadership.
- Risk Assessment / HIRA.
- BOSET (Sea Survival, First Aid course, Fire fighting training).
